Two New Colors!

I hope you guys are enjoying all the new colors I’m coming up with! I swear I’ll try and get you some new nail art soon. For now, feast your eyes on these two colors I’ve developed.

I’ll Soon Be Naked is a peachy shimmer with tiny red micro flakies. It dries slightly matte. On the left is two coats with no top coat, and on the right is with a top coat.

And this one doesn’t have a name yet, that’s up to you guys! I’ll be running a naming contest once my facebook page hits 3,750 likes. This one is a teal shimmer that also dries slightly matte. Left is two coats with no top coat, right has a top coat and I used my camera flash. The bottom picture is the two coats with top coat, no flash.

Spring Duo

I was so excited when I got my white pigment! I really wanted to try some crellies and I had a few unused pigments and glitters I hadn’t experimented with yet. Coming Friday, March 21st are Strawberry Egg and Speckled Egg. Strawberry Egg is a pink with red shreds and fine pink metallic glitter. Speckled Egg is a blue with blue shreds and aqua glitter. Both polishes are opaque in 2-3 coats and have a very slight shimmer to them. They will be available in full size and mini in limited quantities for now.

Storm Troopers

I’ve been meaning to go something else geeky lately. I’ve seen people do storm trooper nails and thought they would be fairly easy. My hand isn’t quite as steady as needed for tiny details, so they came out a little bit rough, but you get the idea. I did the Galactic Empire emblem on my thumb because I kind of got tired of trying to get the storm troopers right. It came out a little uneven too, but not too bad. I used Zoya Purity and Raven for this mani.

Wear It Wednesday Review: Anne Kathleen

I still haven’t been disappointed with any polishes from Anne Kathleen yet! I tried out two of the polishes from the new Golden Fields Collection which is available now. This collection consists of all gold and green, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.

First I tested out Kiera, a beautiful shiny gold. The formula was smooth and thin enough to get a nice clean mani with very little clean up. This is pretty much the perfect gold polish in my opinion. I see so many that I really don’t like but this one isn’t overbearing at all. Below is two coats of Kiera with no topcoat.

Next I put Cáit over top of Kiera. This one is a sheer polish that can be used as a topper or on it’s own in a few coats. It has different green and gold glitters in it. These two go so well together, awesome for a St. Patty’s Day mani. Again the formula is nice and smooth. Only one coat is needed as a topper as shown below.

I also used Cáit over Julep’s Morgan for a Mardi Gras mani yesterday! These polishes are obviously versatile enough to use all year round.

Princess Marble

Tinsley was one of my first Zoya polishes. I absolutely love it! I got Faye next and just recently I received Daul as winnings from a reddit contest. They go together so perfectly. They all have a gold shimmer and they could make the perfect ombre mani. This post wasn’t originally going to be a water marble. I tried doing a gradient with the three, but I was only getting the gold shimmer on my nail and the rest of the polish stayed on the sponge! So I went right to a marble after that, I haven’t done one in a while! This would have been perfect for Valentines day. It’s honestly a little girly for me, but that gold is just so pretty! Oh and I miss that length. I need to grow back my nails fast!
